  • Icon 96761 This is a private road with a block of flats with approx 20 flats. Because of the lack of a tube near by a cycle store would be really handy as a lot of us need to cycle to get to work.
  • Icon 96733 Outside Asda - one of the most popular and largest stores in the area, provides nowhere for bikes to park. There are no railings to attach bikes which makes it impossible to cycle here without leaving bike a 10 minute walk out of the store and through the rest of the center. Suggested area would not obstruct pedestrians or cars.
  • Icon 96732 Bikes get chained to railing here anyway as only other bike parking nearby is outside sainsburys, which isn't always convenient. Bikes being chained to the railings here often obstruct one of the entrances, and there is a perfectly sized area out of the way of pedestrians at the opposite side of the path which would be perfect for a bike stand.

  • Icon 96606 O/S shop for Participatory City (Everyone Every Day). They want to encourage cycling generally and parking nr the shop would promote this and helo people cycling to the shop for events etc.
  • Icon 96605 Urmston - Primrose Avenue contraflow opportunity for cyclists. This would link with Railway Road so cyclists could avoid the very busy junction on Crofts Bank Road. "Except Cycles" sign required underneath. This may require a TRO (ideally on an area wide basis) which is a lot easier than you may think: www.cycling-embassy.org.uk/blog/2013/01/08/view-drawing-board-exempting-cyclists-traffic-regulation-orders
  • Icon 96604 We need cycle parking near St James park - there is none in the vicinity and you are not allowed to use the railings.
